Clay Play

March of 2011 I had this notion for a bunny, and for some reason I really wanted a book involved.  The end result was the Bookish Bunny.

This is a piece I did as  a fundraiser for the Highlands Summer Festival.  I called it The Performer.  My disappointment was that it only fetched about half of what it was worth.  A one only hand built piece.

I loved the play between the clown, the fun the balloon represents and the potential for spoiling the fun that the bee symbolizes. I liked the story.
Here’s a trout trying to escape his reality. Hand built fish with plate made on a wheel.
Phusus. The protogenos of nature.  "Mother Nature" was one of the first entities to emerge. She is so right for Haliburton Highlands.
